The Stanley Spencer Gallery celebrates the life and works of the artist Sir Stanley Spencer who lived in the village of Cookham from 1891 until 1959. The gallery opened just three years after his death and is totally run by volunteers. There are more than 100 of his paintings and drawings here.
Opening times: April to October, every day from 10.30 am til 5.30 pm November to January: Thursday to Sunday 11 am to 4.30 pm Adults £5, Concessions £4, children free
